Q: What makes Burnlounge so special?
A: We are first. Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be part of a start-up company that could impact an industry? Well, with Burnlounge, you are! Launched in Beta, October 2005, Burnlounge has given everyone the opportunity to "GET IN" the music industry. As smart business men and women, we analyze timing and trends in industry. Whether it is real estate or Burnlounge, industry timing and trends are crucial to success. Well, look at the timing in this country. More people watched American Idol than the Super Bowl and Olympics put together. We are fascinated and moved by music. It is perhaps the one medium that connects the world. Combine that with what has happened in the music industry. Digital music downloads--it is the wave of the future. In 18 months, you will purchase nearly all music, movies, etc... online through the internet. Well, Burnlounge has hit the mark. The timing is right, the trends are right and again, you are first with this model. Chances are--nobody in your area has ever heard of Burnlounge--and almost all of them will want to be a part of it. It's music, it's fun, and through this model, it finally makes sense. Just for fun, take a look at other companies who were first with this model: Amway, Mary Kay, Shaklee, Herbalife, Excel, A.L. Williams--ALL BILLION DOLLAR COMPANIES & ALL WERE FIRST WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE PRODUCT. I hope you now can see the possibilities.

Q: Where is Burnlounge going?
A:Burnlounge is just getting started. Burnlounge version 1.0 only scratches the surface of the Burnlounge softwares capabilities. The development team has already begun to build a significant infrastructure to support the future updates. IGNITE DIGITAL MEDIA is the content delivery/ingestion system. Burnlounge has hired Roger McAulay, the architect behind LodgeNet and eCast, to build the software and hardware systems necessary to create an efficient, reliable system to deliver content to each retailers customers. IGNITE will begin by ingesting and delivering the content licensed from independent music licensors. In addition, IGNITE will manage the development of future iterations of Burnlounges technology.
Burnlounge is moving forward with an aggressive content strategy. It is the goal of BURNLOUNGE ENTERTAINMENT GROUP to develop the largest catalog of rare (out of print), underserved (niche genres), unsigned (artists without a label) and geo-specific (styles specific to other countries) music in the world. Burnlounge has engaged several consultants to develop relationships with content owners and aggregators in Japan, Korea, China, The Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, The Middle East, South America and Western Europe. Because Burnlounge enables fans to promote the music they love, we believe that making this geo-specific content available creates a new retailer base among foreign nationals who currently live in the United States.
Finally, the technology development of the next version of the Burnlounge platform will begin in earnest over the 1st quarter of 2006. While the Burnlounge Version 1.0 is currently browser-based, by summer of 2006 well shift it to a desktop application. The new application will merge all elements of the service into one seamless client. BURNLOUNGE VERSION 2.0 will be a download manager, music organizer, music player and have the Burnlounge storefront, I.C.E. and B.M.S. accessible through a built-in browser. Future versions will integrate the Instant Messenger tool and allow retailers to create their own radio podcast programs through a new technology called BurnCast. BurnCast will allow retailers to pick the music they want and drag it into a timeline. The system will then organize the playlist and automatically insert advertising. The system will then track the number of people listening to the program and advertisers will pay according to the size of their listenership. Burnlounge calculates and pays all appropriate royalties, and shares the remaining revenue with the retailer who created the program. In the not-too-distant future, BurnCast could also be used for television and film content.
Burnlounge also plans for steady international expansion. Obviously, the US and Canada are just the beginning. Japan will likely be the next market. Japan has the highest ratio of direct-selling, home-based businesses per capita in the world. The international expansion strategy, while aggressive, will also be timely and deliberate.

Q: What about Itunes, Napster, etc...?
Great question--simple answer. None of that matters. You think it will--but is doesn't. Why? None of them will pay you! None of them provide a platform for the independent artists to sell their music. The list goes on and on. BUT--the best illustration I use as a rebuttal to that question is the story of Excel Communications. Ever heard of them? Here is the story: Once upon a time, there was AT & T, SPRINT, MCI, Etc... all companies who were much bigger to the telecommunications industry than iTunes, Napster and the free music sites are to the music industry today. When de-regulation entered the telecommunication industry, Excel used the direct sales business relationship model to sell the very same product. The same product AT & T sold, Sprint sold, etc... Only they provided the opportunity for anyone to earn commissions through the sale of those services. Same product, but a monetized system. What happened? Excel became the fastest (B)illion-dollar company on Wallstreet. Why? People are motivated by opportunity. To put this into perspective, think of the Burnlounge software as the vehicle that has de-regulated the music industry and has allowed everyone to cash in. Burnlounge will be massive. Why? It makes sense, it's fun, and it is attracting people who "traditionally" would never even look at a direct sales concept.

Q: And why would I, the consumer, want to buy music from a BurnLounge site and not from iTunes?
A: It's all about relationships...If my friend Karina told me her worship music was on her own Burn Lounge Website I would be all over it! Gazillionaire Steve Jobs doesn't need my $1. And since BL is selling tracks for the exact same price point as iTunes, $0.99 per track, why would I buy from Mr. Jobs...he's not going to help my friend...or (should I decide to become a retailer with BL, Steve jobs is not going to pay me a dime to refer people to iTunes or even to use his site over and over.) Why pay a rich man more money...when there is an alternative that can help my friend? Interesting concept!

Q: How is BurnLounge different than iTunes?
- 1-CONTENT: The size and diversity of the catalog of music that will be available, including all of the(Sony/BMG, Universal, EMI & Warner), International, under-served, Independents, Island Hop, Reggae, etc. BurnLounge is committed to having the largest single library of music in the world. Burnlounge is and always will be about music and entertainment--NOT selling a device. So, think about it--if we provide a platform for ALL artists, signed and independents, to not only sell their own music, but all music, where do you think they will find a home?
- 2-WEBSITE: We can have a professionally designed site in seconds, which you can personalize with the music you love without having to purchase it first! You also have access to the largest, most diverse music library in the industry where people can purchase music. Dont you think that will be cool to our kids?
- 3-MONETARY VALUE: We will get PAID to promote the music you love! Stop the pirating, start the profiting! BurnLounge enables people to monetize these personal referral networks, and profit from the sale of music through multiple points of distribution. The question is, how many points of distribution does your team represent? Here is the concept--we can choose to create street teams or affiliate retailers and get PAID on the music they sell through their store!! There is no limit to the number of teams or stores you can get paid on.
4- BONFIRE IM: Free to anyone--Incorporates other instant messaging services so we can communicate and share music by inviting people to chat rooms to hear the latest music we are promoting. The teenagers know this better than we do!
- 5-BURNLOUNGE MAGAZINE: Is professionally produced featuring hit bands and info on the music industry. It is a great marketing tool which gives me culture and credibility. It is just plain cool!
- 6-PARTNERS: BurnLounge has at the helm, experts in the music, marketing and technology industries. Stephen Murray, Alex Arnold, Ryan Dadd, Rick Dees, Carson Daly, etc... Provide deep roots and traction for Burnlounge in the industry. We also have consulting partnerships with many top music industry insiders, experts and analysts; we have the top PR firm in the industry producing marketing materials.
- 7-(Perhaps the most exciting)MERCHANDISE: Music is just the beginning. We will eventually have ring tones, movies, books, posters, logo wear, BurnLounge Wear, portable music players, concert tickets, karaoke, video games, etc. , to sell from our stores. None of which has to be purchased by us first. So again, the question remains, "How many points of distribution does your team represent?"
We will have the largest music catalog in the industry? Both, iTunes and Burnlounge, have the majors (Sony/BMG, Universal, Warner, EMI) but Burnlounge attracts the independents. It gives them a platform to not only license and sell their own content, but any content. It creates community. People can sell the music they love and get paid. Made sense to me!

Q: Is this a Pyramid?
Short Answer, NO! But, when someone asks me that question, my first response is to ask them, what do you think a pyramid is? Most people arent really sure but they have just heard that a pyramid scheme is bad. So I respond by explaining that in reality all businesses are a pyramid. They start with the president, down to the CEO, then the managers, then the laborers (who do all of the work to make the people at the top most of the money) and we all know that the laborer will never earn what the president of the company earns. Establishing that all businesses are pyramids, we must now define what makes up an illegal pyramid which the FTC will shut down. An illegal pyramid is a company that is growing by multi-level marketing but does not have a viable and actual product.
As a Burnlounge Mogul, the product is your personal online music store which includes 1.5 million songs available for download, the ability to accept credit card payments online, and your backend accounting software to manage your team and track your sales.
Another example of an illegal pyramid scheme is when a company is placing people into a multi-level plan with the promise that for those getting involved that everyone else will do all of the work for them and nothing else will be required to make a lot of money.
With Burnlounge, you do get the benefit of teams within your team working for you and generating revenue but you are required to keep your sides balanced in order to receive compensation and each Mogul is required to personally sponsor at least two Moguls to become active.
Amway, Pampered Chef, and Mary Kay are ALL legal and very financially successful companies that operate with a similar business model to Burnlounge. All of the above have been in business for decades.

Q: How much is this going to cost me?
A: Please--take this seriously. We would not waste our time or your time if we were talking about long hours and little money. Guys, there are now only 18 thousand people involved at this point and that number will virally grow to 3-5 million in 3-5 years. I encourage you--take a close, hard look at this and decide if you can afford NOT to invest $445.
The cost to open your online music store which includes; in excess of a 1.5 million song library, permission fro Sony, Warner Bros and other music labels to sell the online music, your back-end accounting software that tracks your team and your commissions and the ability to accept online credit card payments from your customers is only $444.90 and $14.95 per month. Every new mogul that you directly sponsor, you will receive $8/a month of their $14.95 monthly fee.You will also receive a University DVD program which is an invaluable resource to learn the best ways to make the most out of your BurnLounge store. We are building our team with new members signing up as Moguls w/ University. This is the fastest most effective way to grow your commissions, any other level of signup either does not pay you on the sales of stores under you and/or requires three times the new moguls to earn the same money. Therefore, we are recommending that you encourage all new Moguls to come in as Mogul with University.

Q: Should I focus on selling music or sponsoring new retailers?
A: Both--that is the quick answer. Now for the details. Have you heard someone say "It concerns me that your primary focus is to sell stores and not music" ? OR Has anyone suggested this is a "pyramid"? We all have--and here is the answer. We are treating Burnlounge like a business. SMART business. To begin, a pyramid is illegal. A pyramid doesn't promote the sale of a product(s). At Burnlounge, we do. One look at the Burnlounge I.C.E. Site and our Mogul Toolkit Back Office Software, and you will see the value and power of our product. But beyond the proprietary software we sell, think about our top productDIGITAL MUSIC. Its universal. So don't get defensive. Almost every time a person suggest this is a pyramid, that person likely falls into one of three categories: 1) They are broke, unsuccessful and cant get involved anyhow; therefore it is convenient for them to throw that word around even though they dont understand it. Trust me, ask themwhat is their definition of a pyramid and they will fail miserably trying to give you an educated answer. OR 2) That person is miserable in life, they hate their job and certainly doesnt want you to be part of something great. That person is typically negative about everything, not just Burnlounge. OR 3) If the person uses the word pyramid, and they actually are successful, I can guarantee you that they are so full of pride and ego, that they will never take an honest look. Again, don't get defensive--move on, it will be their loss. By the way, you can also ask them if they have ever heard of a guy named Warren Buffet. Mr. Buffet happens to be one of the richest men in the country. He also owns a little ol' company called Pampered Chef direct sales pyramid as your friend would call it" company that sells kitchen utensils through relationship marketing. By the way Forbes recently valued his worth at $42 Billion. Seems to me Mr. Buffet has some smart business sense. Sorry--I had to throw that in here to show you the validity of what this model means and who it attracts. Be encouraged, you are in good company.

Now for the meat of the answer....
Sell music or sell stores? To begin, most smart business people never ask this, because they already understand, but here is the answer. What is our goal? Our goal is to sell lots of product. So what's easier, selling lots of product through a single store or lots of product through lots of stores? Simple--our focus right now is selling a powerful piece of software we call digital space that everyone is trying to sell. Myspace, Amazon, etc Through that digital space, everything digital will be sold (music, movies, ringtones, TV shows, games, referrals, etc) Therefore, why wouldnt we use smart business sense and focus on developing distribution. Let me explain. You can use any franchise model, but we will use the Hardees fast food chain. They sell 99 cent hamburgers the same way we sell 99 cent songs. How did they create their fortune? Focusing on 99 cent hamburgers at a single store or selling stores that sell 99 cent hamburgers? Smart business men and women make their fortune selling the whole package NOT just product. They sell you the name, systems, marketing materials, etc for YOU to sell their product. Well, that is exactly what we do with Burnlounge. Do we sell music? Absolutely. Would a smart business man or woman make that their primary focus? Absolutely notYET. Especially if we are in a Beta test site. Smart business sense would never suggest that you target customers to buy a product from a test site. Never market average--and during the Burnlounge Beta launch, the service is average. Smart business men and woman would sell stores, and more stores and more stores. They want market share. Customers will inevitably become a reality if they capture market share. Make sense? We are in the business of setting up digital space distribution and Burnlounge is the brilliant model that was smart enough to develop that distribution through relationships. Why? It simply makes sense. And we get paid to do it for them. THAT is smart business.

Q: Why is there a monthly charge for Affiliates and Moguls?
The monthly charge covers updates, hosting, and maintenance of the Retailer's web sites and business reporting in the Business Management Software (B.M.S.)™ Gold or Platinum
Back to the top
Q: Why should I purchase the Mogul with University package? What is the difference vs Mogul without University?
A: Let me remind you, there are (5) options that allow you to participate in Burnlounge:
1-Customer 2-Fan Package 3-Affiliate Package 4-Music Mogul 5-Music Mogul w / University
Because this team site has been developed for Music Moguls who want to create income, we will focus on the business-building options. We have found that most business professionals we are attracting understand the model of setting up distribution and selling music; it just makes sense! All of them want to know the fastest way to create business momentum which in turn creates a higher return on your efforts. Let's face it--the smart business men and women are here to create wealth and build residual income. That is why they ALL choose the Mogul w / University package. We have built a strong, educated, fast-growing team of Burnlounge retailers with that package, and here is why. This option promotes the highest level of return when we are building our teams. Think about it--the hardest part of this business model is finding people who want to build a sales force of their own. Therefore, natural business sense would suggest that we seek the highest return possible when we find those people. Along with the Burnlounge University event priveleges, and DVD training semesters, the Mogul w / University package gives you the the highest number of Customer Acquisition Points. That is extremely important. As we build the mogul distribution network, we are paid to sell stores and to balance those Customer Acquisition Points. See below:
1)Personally selling stores: Mogul store = $20 commission & 100 Customer Acquisition Points
Mogul w / University store = $50 commission & 400 Customer Acquisition Points
2)Completing Cycles = $50 commission
So waht is a cycle? A cycle happens when any Mogul has 600 Balanced Customer Acquisition Points, 300 A pts 300 B pts.
Everytime a mogul completes a cycle, Burnlounge will send them a $50 commission.
Therefore, lots of points = lots of possible $50 commissions. Why? Burnlounge will compensate us for creating an educated sales force of Burnlounge retailers. So ask yourself-- what level of activity do you want your sales team duplicating as they develop distribution? Team members selling 400 point stores or 100 point stores? Put into perspective, sell (2) and earn $40, or sell (2) and earn $150. It's obvious. Then comes the inevitible next question: Can I just buy the Mogul package for myself and have everyone else purchase the Mogul with University and still earn the same commissions? YES! But good luck. Try asking someone to do what you are not willing to do. Set the pace for your team--focus on FAST! It is difficult to moves fast selling 100 point stores with little education on the music industry. They don't get the University training DVD's. Basically, you will move and earn 4X slower than what's possible if you are not promoting the Mogul w / University package. There is also a hidden factor that people fail to see. Motivation! What keeps people motivated? Making money? How about making money quickly? If you can show them how, they will lock arms and go with this incredible concept. We have attracted people who would never do direct sales. Why? The power of the model and the ability to create residual wealth while having fun. Trust me, when you see what Burnlounge will be releasing this fall with the 2.0 version of our music service, you will have wished you had followed the advice above and "locked" people in through momentum by selling the Mogul w / University package.
